Bill Spady (USA) Professor Bill Spady is Director of High Success Network in Eagle, Colorado. Between 1967 and 1973 he held academic appointments in Sociology of Education at Harvard University and the Institute for Studies in Education. His many articles and frameworks related to OBE have influenced its evolution and implementation internationally. Author of Outcome-Based Education: Critical Issues and Answers. Jim Rand (Scotland) Professor Jim Rand has 25 years of experience as teacher, researcher, developer and manager in higher education and educational development. He was Head of Department of InService Education, University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, 1991 - 1996. Now a consultant in Education, Training and Development and is a external evaluator for a number of major clients including the Republic of Botswana Ministry of Education, Scottish Qualifications Authority, Scottish University for Industry, Scottish Further Education Unit as well as a number of Scottish universities and education authorities. Alison Wolf (UK) Professor Alison Wolf is attached to International Centre for Research on Assessment at the Institute of Education, London. Advisor to Assessment Studies Unit, HSRC in SA. Author of Competence-Based Assessment. Roy Killen (NSW Australia) Dr Roy Killen has been a teacher educator for approximately 20 years. He lectures in curriculum development, teaching strategies and assessment procedures in both undergraduate and postgraduate courses at the University of Newcastle, Callagan. His publications include several books on teaching strategies and journal articles in Australia, India, the UK, the USA and South Africa. He has presented at conferences throughout Australia and in New Zealand, the USA, Finland, Germany, Scotland, Turkey, Thailand, and South Africa. Over the past four years he has presented approximately 80 seminars and workshops on Outcomes-Based Education in South Africa. He was recently appointed as Extraordinary Professor at the University of Pretoria and Professor Laureate at Vista University. Clifford Malcolm Professor Cliff Malcolm is a distinguished Australian academic attached to Radmester at the University of Witwatersrand who has tried to unravel the American and Austalian versions of OBE in context of South African interpretation and practice.
